Gettysburg opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a1-0 score that held until the 82nd minute, when back-to-back goals by each team set the 2-1 final margin.

• Just seven minutes into the game,
Lucas DiGiacomo (Madison, N.J./Madison) lifted a free kick into the box where Williams used his head to score the first goal of the game.
• After a back-and-forth second half, Julian Faust broke up the shutout off a pass from Tommy Mollis to notch a 1-all tie with just under 10 minutes left to play. Not willing to accept a tie,
