Franklin & Marshall scored a goal late in each half to defeat Gettysburg 2-0 in the opening round of the 2023 Centennial Conference tournament.

• Zoe Warne finally broke through for the Diplomats with 5:40 to play in the opening half.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Zoe Warne controlled a loose ball at the top of the six-yard box and fired a low-liner into the far-left corner of the goal for a 1-0 lead in the 40th minute.
• Mikaela Timmermans added an insurance goal, taking a quick pass from Alison Francis in the middle of the box for the final margin in the 86th minute.
