THE REST OF THE STORY
• Behind a pair of Jadyn Murray layups, Johns Hopkins built a 6-2 lead nearly three minutes into the game. Five points, however, from
Mackenzie Szlosek closed the deficit to 8-7 before an
Alayna Arnolie (Vienna, Va./James Madison) pull-up 15-footer put Gettysburg in front 9-8 midway through the opening quarter. The teams traded baskets over the final four minutes of the period and the Bullets took a 13-12 edge into the second quarter.

Michaela O'Neil got a turnaround layup to go with 5:08 showing to halt a 3-minute, 17-second drought. A 5-for-6 showing from the free-throw line in the last 4:43 of the first half helped closed the deficit to 26-25 but
Tatum Murray (Newton, Mass./Newton) drained a 3-pointer from the top of the key in the final 25 seconds to stretch the lead back to 29-25 at the break.
• Baskets from Murray and Greta Miller in the first 1:50 of the third quarter tied the game at 29-all. Szlosek broke an 0-for-6 start for the Bullets to the second half with a wing trey at the 5:51 for a 32-30 lead. The Blue Jay run extended to 11-3 over the first six minutes of the period. Triples from Priore and

• Tied at 46-all, Kendall Dunham hit the Blue Jays' first 3-pointer of the game with 7:35 to play to put the hosts in front. Kara Milliken then drained a pair of free throws 36 seconds later to push the advantage to five. Trailing 54-46, Priore scored four straight to cut the deficit in half with 5:02 remaining. Johns Hopkins stretched the lead out to 59-52 with 3:07 to play before four more from Priore sparked an 8-0 run to go back in front just 1:21 later. The Blue Jays, however, went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line between 57.0 and 10.3 seconds to take a 65-60 lead. Arnolie drained a triple from the wing with 6.5 seconds left to give Gettysburg a chance.
