THE SKINNY STORY
Vassar had a seven-run frame in game one and a five-run inning in game two to sweep a doubleheader and complete a three-game weekend sweep of Gettysburg. The Brewers took game one 10-5 before having the final say in a 12-11 nightcap win.

THE LEADERS
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Bullets with five hits in the twinbill, recording two hits in game one and three in game two.

FOR THE FOES
• Andrew Kanellis had five hits for the Brewers, including a three-hit, four-RBI nightcap.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, back-to-back errors to lead off the game put the first two Vassar runners on base. After two strikeouts, Reid Lapekas doubled to the gap for a 2-0 lead.
Preston Toothman (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone) tripled with two outs in the second and took advantage of a miscue to score and cut the deficit in half.
• After three straight singles to start the top of the third, an error on a sacrifice attempt reloaded the bases in a 3-1 game and opened the gate for a seven-run inning. Two more run-producing singles from Daniel Laderman and Nick Greenhawt made it 5-1 before a bases-loaded hit batter and sacrifice fly made it 7-1. A two-run Andrew Kanellis double capped the frame.
• With one out in the bottom of the inning, Aaron Kirby (Sandy Hook, Conn./St. Joseph) beat out an infield single before Matthew Peipher (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) singled through the right side and Tristan Neels (San Diego, Calif./Francis W. Parker) walked to load the bases. Liam Gregory (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) roped his first triple to the gap to clear the bases before scoring on a wild pitch to close the deficit to 9-5.
• The Brewers tacked on a final run in the top of the fifth on a first-third play.
• The second game started off with a Jaden Millstein double before he moved to third on a flyout and scored on a wild pitch for a 1-0 lead.
• Two walks around a Birch Herring-Jackson single loaded the bases in the top of the second. Kanellis doubled with two outs to make it 3-0 before a three-run Adam Talwalkar home run to left stretched the advantage to 6-0.
• A Neels walk, two wild pitches and a Mabret Levant (Lakeville, Pa./Wallenpaupack Area) RBI groundout made it 6-1 in the second. Kyle Miller (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) walked to lead off the third then took third on a Jack Pistner double and scored on a Peipher RBI groundout to cut the margin to 6-2.
• Vassar got the two runs back in the top of the fourth with a leadoff walk and one-out Jensen Bergmen homer to right.
• Two walks on eight pitches to start the fifth forced a pitching change. A fielder's choice and Neels single scored the first of four runs. Mark Seibert (Yardley, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) doubled with two outs to make it 8-4 before a Lavant two-run single up the middle cut the deficit to 8-6.
• After the first two reached in the home sixth, the Brewers got a double play for the first two outs but a throwing error allowed Miller to score and kept the inning alive. Two stolen bases and wild pitch tied the game before Toothman doubled to the gap, scoring Neels from first for the Bullets' first lead of the series.
• A throwing error allowed a leadoff baserunner in the eighth before a Kanellis long ball put Vassar back in front, 10-9.
• Pistner doubled to lead off the bottom of the frame before a Peipher single put runners at the corners. A one-out fielder's choice scored Pistner with the game-tying run.
• Ty Murray and Jack Silvera singled around a strikeout to start the ninth inning and put runners at the corners with one out. A Millstein deep fly to right scored the go-ahead run before a Ricardo Reyna infield single scored Silvera for a two-run lead.
• Seibert knocked a single into center with one out in the bottom of the frame. After a Levant single and wild pitch put two in scoring position, JR McCloskey (Huntington Station, N.Y./Chaminade) lofted a sacrifice fly to cut the margin to one with the tying run at third base and two outs before Joe Sabo got a groundball to finish off the win.

THE INSIDE STORY
Alexander Wilkie-Viscio (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) struck out a career-high three and did not allow a walk in four innings of relief work in game two.
Mark Seibert notched his 97th and 98th career hits in the nightcap.
• In addition to Jack Pistner's three-hit game two, Mark Seibert and Mabret Levant had two hits each. Levant added three RBIs.
• Pistner, Matthew Peipher and Preston Toothman had two hits each in game one. Liam Gregory drove in a career-high three in game one.
