THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked fifth in the latest USILA Division III coaches' poll, raced out to a 9-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back for a 18-8 win at McDaniel.
THE LEADERS

Kyle Howard (Skillman, N.J./Montgomery) led the Bullets with five goals ā all in the first half. He also had an assist for six points.

Jonathan Moshe (Port Jefferson, N.Y./Earl L. Vandermeulen) won nine of the 12 faceoffs he took with six ground balls.
FOR THE FOES
⢠Nick DeLoriers led the Green Terror with three goals and two assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY

Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) got the scoring started off the first of seven first-half assists from
George Raymond (Darien, Conn./Suffield Academy) with 11:51 to play in the first quarter. Raymond then found
Kieran Ward (Malvern, Pa./Malvern Prep) just 31 seconds later to double the advantage. Kessler and Ward then each scored their second tallies to make it 4-0 with 8:48 remaining.
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) made it 5-0 just over a minute later before three goals from
Kyle Howard in a 3-minute, 36-second span made it 8-0 with 1:48 to play. Ward tacked on his third of the quarter with 12 ticks remaining for a 9-0 lead.

McCain Wnek (Wilmington, N.C./New Hanover) finished Raymond's sixth assist just 2:34 into the second quarter to keep the momentum rolling. Ward found Dunleavy a minute later before Kessler and Howard connected with 10:36 on the second-quarter clock for a 12-0 lead.
Stokes Myers (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) found the back of the net with 9:29 showing before the lead grew to 14-0 on Ward's fourth tally with 8:46 remaining in the first half. Nick DeLoriers finally broke up the shutout with 8:01 on the clock but Kessler put home Raymond's seventh helper and Howard capped his five-goal first half with 5:18 remaining for a 16-1 lead at the break.
⢠Wnek notched his second of the day with 8:01 remaining in the third quarter. Zach Micklos found DeLoriers then found the back of the net just 77 seconds apart to make it 17-3 with 2:25 showing.
Benny Kasoff (Leesburg, Va./Riverside) tallied his first goal six seconds later to push the lead back to 15 after three quarters.
⢠Two AJ Johnson goals keyed a 5-0 final quarter for McDaniel to make it a 10-goal final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY

George Raymond dished out seven assists for the second time in the last three games.
⢠Gettysburg outshot McDaniel 62-19 in the game, including 37-6 in the first half.
