THE SKINNY STORY
No. 1 Johns Hopkins hit six home runs and limited Gettysburg to only two hits and no runs in the conclusion of the home-and-home series, and Gettysburg's final game of the season.

THE LEADERS
Mabret Levant (Lakeville, Pa./Wallenpaupack) was one of two Bullets that had a knock on the day.
Preston Toothman (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone) was the other Bullet to tally a hit.

FOR THE FOES
• Alex Shane had a 3-for-3 day, with three runs and two RBI. Two of his runs were home runs, and his third hit was a double.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Johns Hopkins scored three runs in the first three innings – all of which were home runs. Alex Shane, Shawn Steuerer, and Sam Frank hit homers in the first, second, and third inning, respectively, to stake the Blue Jays to a 3-0 lead.
• In the bottom of the fourth, James Stevens, the first batter up for the Blue Jays, also hit a home run to make it a four-run Johns Hopkins lead. A walk and a one-out double by Shane put two in scoring position, and after Matt Cooper was intentionally walked to load the bases Dillon Souvignier laced a single through the right side and advanced on the throw to score two more runs. A single by Stuerer then plated the final two Blue Jays on base for an 8-0 lead after four innings.
• In the top of the sixth, Mabret Levant tallied the Bullets' first hit of the day, a single through the right side, but couldn't come home. Shane hit his second homer of the game in the bottom of the sixth, and Steuerer sent his second bomb over the fence in the bottom of the seventh to make it a 10-0 Johns Hopkins advantage.
• The final run of the game came in the bottom of the eighth. After two batters were hit by a pitch, a double play advanced the runner on second. A single by Jackson Roloff brought home the last Blue Jays run.
Preston Toothman tallied the Bullets' final base knock of the day in the top of the ninth, with a one-out single through the left side.
