THE SKINNY STORY

THE LEADERS

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the game's first 57 seconds before Gettysburg ran off the final 17 points of the first period to take a 13-point lead after 10 minutes. Alayna Arnolie got the Bullet run started with a pair of jumpers to tie the game with 6:47 to play. An AB Holsinger wing triple put the visitors in front with 5:03 showing.
• The run extended to 24-0 before a Lizzie Neville jumper snapped a 13-minute, 1-second scoring drought to make it a 24-6 game. The Diplomats ran off seven in a row to close to within 24-11 before a Marah McHugh (West Chester, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) three-point play to push the lead to 27-11 at the break.
• Just like the first quarter, Franklin & Marshall tallied the first four of the third quarter to close to within 12 just 73 seconds into the second half. After Shinya Lee (Rochester, N.Y./Holderness Prep School) and Mackenzie Ward traded baskets, Neville hit the hosts' first 3-pointer of the game to make it a 31-20 game midway through the period. The teams combined for just seven points over the final half of the quarter, giving the Bullets a 35-23 lead entering the final 10 minutes.
• Ally Trebelev hit a layup to start the quarter and trim the margin to 10 before Arnolie and McHugh responded with layups to stretch the advantage back to 39-25 and Franklin & Marshall never got within 12 the rest of the way.
