LANCASTER, Pa. – Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley), a senior on the Gettysburg men's basketball team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 18-24.

Schaller led the Bullets (7-0) to a 3-0 week that included two wins over ranked opponents at the Hampden-Sydney Tip-Off Tournament. He averaged 21.0 points per game on the week, shooting 56.4 percent from the floor. On Tuesday, he scored 29 points at Bryn Athyn to eclipse 1,000 points for his career. He then scored 10 points against No. 20 Maryville (Tenn.) and 24 against No. 23 Hampden-Sydney to earn a spot on the all-tournament team. Schaller also shot 70.6 percent (12 of 17) from the line, hit seven 3-pointers, grabbed 15 rebounds, handed out eight assists and nabbed four steals.

For the season, he is second on the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game and is shooting 45.0 from the floor. He has hit 11 3-pointers to go with 16 assists, 12 steals and 21 rebounds.

Gettysburg returns to action at Stevenson on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Game time is 8 p.m.
