THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg jumped out to a 10-1 lead in the first set en route to a 3-0 win over Washington (Md.) in the regular-season finale.

THE LEADERS
Sophie Nasir (Covina, Calif./St. Lucy's Priory) led the Bullets with five kills, 20 assists, six digs and a block.

FOR THE FOES
• Giselle Kleinbussink led the Shorewomen with seven kills, five digs and three total blocks.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Behind strong serving from Sophie Nasir and Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy), Gettysburg jumped out to a 10-1 lead in the opening set. Kills from Gonzalez and an slam off an over from Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) stretched the lead to 20-9 en route to a 25-14 win.
• After a tight start to the second set, back-to-back Washington errors opened up a 10-5 lead for the Bullets. Holding an 17-11 lead, a service error turned the serve over to Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect), who served the final seven points, including three aces for a 25-11 win.
• A pair of combined blocks from Huegel and Catherine Holtz (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham), Gettysburg jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the third set and slowly extended the advantage until back-to-back Ava Grall (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra) kills extended the lead to 23-14 en route to a 25-18 victory for the sweep.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Catherine Holtz chipped in six kills, six digs and three blocks.
Kendall Erpenbeck finished with 14 assist and five aces.
Mary Huegel added five kills, three blocks, three digs and an ace.

NEXT UP
Gettysburg hosts Haverford in the opening round of the Centennial Conference tournament on Wednesday. Match time will be announced on Monday morning.
