THE SKINNY STORY
Salisbury, ranked No. 1 in the latest USILA Div. III poll, used a 6-0 run that spanned the second and third quarter to turn a tie game into an 11-5 lead and defeat No. 6 Gettysburg, 14-8.

Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) led the Bullets with two goals and an assist.
FOR THE FOES
• Jude Brown and Brice Bromwell led the Sea Gulls with five points each, tallying four goals and one assist apiece.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Brice Bromwell staked Salisbury to a 1-0 lead just 1:43 into the contest before
Colin Johnston (Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's) drew Gettysburg even with 9:31 on the clock.
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) found the back of the net three minutes later to put the visitors in front. But Jude Brown netted his first of the day 71 seconds later for a 2-all game after one quarter.
• Brown hit Riley Strub for a man-up tally just 15 seconds into the second quarter before Jack Dowd put the Sea Gulls in front by two 50 ticks later.
Stokes Myers (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) cut the deficit in half off the first of two
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, R.I./Seton Hall Prep) with 12:09 to play. Down pushed the lead back to two before
Quinton Mather (Avon, Conn./Avon Old Farms) and
Luke Barbera (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) each found the back of the net to make it a 5-all game with 3:55 showing. Bromwell started a three-goal flurry in the final 2:44 of the half to give Salisbury an 8-5 lead at the break.
• Bromwell then started another three-goal flurry in a 4-minute, 17-second second stretch that extended the lead to 11-5 with 9:08 to play in the third quarter.
Charlie Johnson finished a solo run then hit Myers to stop the run and make it 11-7 with 3:02 on the clock.
• Two more Salisbury markers to start the fourth pushed the advantage back out to six before Johnson and Bromwell traded markers in the final 5:03 of the game.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Salisbury finished with a 43-32 advantage in shots and won 16 of the 24 faceoffs.
