THE REST OF THE STORY
• The No. 2 doubles team of
Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) and
Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) started the match off with an 8-0 sweep.
Chase Burker (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) and
Patrick Gunnison (Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy) took an 8-1 victory at third doubles. The first doubles team of
Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md./Wheaton) and Damare won 8-3 to stake Gettysburg to a 3-0 lead.
• At first singles, McPartland took a 6-3, 7-5 victory. Kutlu won his second singles match handily, 6-0, 6-1.
Hayden Strittmatter (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai) also won by the same score at fourth singles.
Jeffrey Seybolt (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) rounded out the Bullets' wins with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at fifth singles.
