THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked sixth in the latest ILWomen/IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored 15 straight goals to break a 4-3 game wide open and secure the top seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference tournament with a 21-5 win over McDaniel.
THE LEADERS

Emily Crane (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) led the Bullets with four goals and career-high 11 draw controls.

Jordan Basso (Rye, N.Y./Rye) added four goals and an assist.
•
Caroline Sullivan (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) chipped in three goals and three assists.
FOR THE FOES
• Emma Legacy led the Green Terror with three goals and an assist.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) took a quick pass from
Julie Breedveld (Wayne, Pa./Radnor) and finished for the game's first goal just 2:09 into the game. Emma Legacy responded with a free-position tally with 9:10 to play in the first quarter.
Caroline Sullivan (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) responded in kind nearly five minutes later before finding
Emily Crane 60 seconds later and stretching the lead to 3-1. Legacy netted her second of the quarter with 1:41 remaining to make it a one-goal game after one quarter.
• Just 22 seconds into the second quarter,
Jordan Basso (Rye, N.Y./Rye) got into the scoring column and pushed the lead to back to two. After Addison Utterback closed the margin to 4-3 with 12:41 showing, Sullivan found Crane 29 seconds later, starting a run of nine straight to the break and 13-3 lead. Crane had three goals in the stretch. Basso added three, including scoring with 1:40 showing and with 56 ticks on the clock to end the period.
• The Bullets ran off a 5-0 third quarter on goals by five different players.
Dillon Troy (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) scored her first goal of the season with 5:13 remaining in the period.
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) and
Caroline Ragan (Dallas, Texas/The Episcopal School of Dallas) scored goals 17 and 18, respectively. for Gettysburg.

Lauren O'Connell (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) stretched the lead to 19-3 with 13:21 remaining in the fourth before Emma Carpenter snapped a 31-minute scoreless drought and 15-0 Bullet run with an unassisted tally at the 11:24 mark. Gettysburg then scored two of the final three goals for the 16-goal victory.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg won 23 of the 30 draw controls in the game.
• The Bullets finished with a 34-14 advantage in shots.
• Ten different Gettysburg players scored a goal in the game and 12 registered a point.
