• Tyler Blanz (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) played the two of the most competitive matches of the day, needing tiebreaker sets in his No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles losses.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Blanz and Matt Porreca lost 8-7 (7-4) at second doubles in the only doubles match to go to a tiebreaker set.
• At first singles, Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md./Thomas S. Wootton) lost by a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
• Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) and Blanz both took their singles matches to a tiebreaker set but both ultimately fell to their Fords competitors.
