Washington College gets the 4-3 win over Gettysburg after winning one doubles match and four singles; two of which battled into three sets.
THE LEADERS
- Owen Kutlu led the Bullets with a 6-1, 6-3 No. 5 singles win as well as partnering with Spencer Pompian to push the third doubles match into a tiebreaking set winning said set 7-4.
FOR THE FOES
- Maxi Synnestvedt led the Shoremen securing their win after a battle at second singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Teo Burgess and Matt Porreca combined to take the 6-2 win at second doubles.
- Burgess dropped second singles but not before winning set one 6-3 and forcing set two into a tiebreaking set before ultimately falling 9-7, 6-3.
- JP Damare snagged the 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
- Spencer Pompian dropped the third singles match, 6-2, 7-5, but not before battling through three sets after winning set one 6-3.
