THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg trailed by five strokes after the first round of competition this fall before firing a program-record score of 279 to win by eight strokes at The Gauntlet hosted at Bucknell Golf Club. The Bullets were in a three-way tie after 18 holes with a score of 289 before three players fired par or better over the final round for the comeback victory.
THE LEADERS

Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) led the charge on day two with the lowest gross score in program history, carding a round of 65 to match for the lowest round of the tournament. He posted a round of 73 on Sunday to finish with a two-day score of 138 on the par-70 and place third overall. His Monday round featured six birdies and just one bogey.
FOR THE FOES
• Penn State Altoona finished in second place with a two-day score of 576. The Lions were tied with Gettysburg after the first round but fired a round of 287 on Monday to fall eight strokes back.
• Dickinson's Collin McMahon-Shea was the individual winner with a score of 135 (65-70) to best the field by two strokes.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) posted matching rounds of even-par 70 to place tied for fourth in the field with a score of 140.

Daniel Casanta (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) made his Gettysburg debut with a round of 74 on Sunday before also firing an even-par round on Monday to finish 14th with a score of 144.

Myles Cunningham (Winnetka, Ill./New Tier) made his collegiate debut with a two-round total of 147. He posted a round of 72 over the first 18 holes and 75 over the second 18 to place 19th.

Will Chouinard (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) rounded out the Bullet competitors with a 28th-place finish, posting a score of 149 (75-74).
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg's round of 279 on Monday was not only a program record but also the lowest round in the field by five strokes. Franklin & Marshall carded a score of 284 on Sunday to lead by five shots before firing a round of 300 on Monday. The second-lowest round on Monday was Penn State-Altoona's round of 287 – 11 strokes worse than the Bullets.
