THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, the only Division III team in a field with 13 Division I teams, finished eighth at The Carpetbagger Classic at Worthington Manor Golf Club. The Bullets finished with a two-day score of 595, carding a round of 296 on Saturday and 299 on Sunday.
THE LEADERS
• Four of the Bullets' five golfers all finished as part of an 11-way tie for 30th place with scores of 149.
FOR THE FOES
• Mount St. Mary's won the 14-team invitational with a score of 580, registering matching rounds of 280.
• Loyola's Jackson Roman, playing as an individual, won the individual title after a second-round score of 67 and two-day score of 137.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Wyatt Isgrig (Greenwood Village, Colo./Cherry Creek) had the top individual round of the weekend for Gettysburg, carding a round of 73 on Saturday before finishing the weekend with a score of 76.
• Andrew Eskstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban) and
Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) both turned in a round of 74 on Saturday and 75 on Sunday for his 149 while
Daniel Casanta (Pinehurst, N.C./Pomperaug) flipped those scores with a 74 on Saturday and 75 on Sunday.
• Tim Hall (Weston, Mass./Dover Sherborn) placed 71st overall with a total score of 156 (81-75).
