Gettysburg scored within the first two minutes of the game and then scored five in the second half for a 7-0 win over Penn State-Brandywine.

Chase Sempervive (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) was the only Bullet with multiple goals, scoring twice on four shots.

• Elijah DeBooth had eight saves for the Lions.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg started strong with a goal at the 2:49 minute mark when
Aidan Muller (Cape Town, South Africa/Putnam Science Academy) headed home an
Ean Malay (Exeter, N.H./Exeter) assist. The Bullets held possession for the remainder of the half, adding a second goal with just over 10 minutes left in the half.
Michael Sack (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Harriton) finished off an assist from
Aidan Gaynor (Parsippany, N.J./Pingry School).
• Nearly 90 seconds into the second half,
Chase Sempervive sent one home with flare off the back heel. Sempervive made it back-to-back tallies just over 10 minutes later for a 4-0 lead. In the final 20 minutes, Gettysburg found the net three more times.
Athi Msiza (Gauteng, South Africa/Berkshire School), Gaynor and
Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa./Palisades) all recorded their first goals of the year.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg had 27 shots with 15 on goal while keeping Penn State-Brandywine to just one that was off target. The Bullets also had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
• Gettysburg played the entire second half with a player advantage after the Lions were issued a red card in the 41st minute.
