Tonight's non-conference match marks the ninth all-time meeting between Gettysburg (4-0) and Stevenson (3-0) in a series that dates back to 2002. The Bullets lead the all-time series 5-3 but the Mustangs have won three of the last four, including a 3-0 victory in Owings Mills last season.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg played Stevenson to three back-and-forth sets but the Mustangs used long runs in all three sets to earn the 3-0 match win last season. Kylie Ulrich led the Bullets' attack with nine kills and three blocks. Rileigh Kimball tallied nine aces, two blocks, and 13 digs to lead the Mustangs. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg wrapped up a 4-0 weekend at the Battlefield Classic with two wins on Saturday. After dropping the first two sets of the morning on day two, Gettysburg won five straight sets to go 2-0 on the day and wrap up a perfect weekend to kick off the 2024 season. The Bullets found themselves in a 2-0 hole to Wisc.-Eau Claire before winning the final three sets for their second 3-2 win of the weekend. HEAD OF THE CLASS: Junior Mary Huegel picked up Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after a solid opening weekend at the net. She led the Bullets to a 4-0 weekend at the Battlefield Classic that included in a pair of 3-2 wins over Bridgewater on Friday and Wisc.-Eau Claire on Saturday. Huegel knocked down 26 blocks in the 16 sets played (1.63 bps) that included nine in the five-setter against Bridgewater and seven in the 3-2 win over Eau Claire. She wrapped up Saturday and a spot on the all-tournament team with seven in a 3-0 win over Susquehanna. Huegel also added 25 kills (1.56 kps) that included 10 in the three sets against Susquehanna. She also chipped in 12 digs and two aces on the weekend.

ROAD WARRIORS: After starting the season with five straight home matches, the Bullets take to the road for the next three weeks. Gettysburg plays eight straight away from home before hosting Catholic on Sept. 25. That night starts another run of four straight at home before splitting October and early November evenly between home and road matches. The upcoming road trips brings about matches in three different states, starting with a trip to Fredericksburg, Virginia this weekend. There is also a trip to William Smith in Geneva, New York, next weekend and two short trips to the Greater Harrisburg area.

LAST TIME OUT: Stevenson opened the season with a 3-0 trip to the DeSales quad on Friday and Saturday. After a 3-0 win over Rutgers-Camden on Friday, the Mustangs recorded a pair of 3-1 wins on Saturday, downing Brockport and DeSales. (Friday Recap) (Saturday Recap)

SHE'S DIGGING IT: Nicole Fuglestad showcased her defensive prowess in the first three matches of the season, recording 51 digs (4.64 dps) after taking over as the starting libero. She recorded 24 in the Brockport match to establish a career best. The junior tallied 13 or more in each of the three matches and also knocked down seven aces, which was the second most of any Mustang on opening weekend.
