A pair of third-quarter goals broke open a 1-0 game and lifted Gettysburg to a 3-0 win at Washington & Jefferson.

• Just 2:51 into the game,
Jillian Somers (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) found
Bella Bonazinga, who found the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
• That lead held until Bonazinga made it a two-goal day just 2:18 into the third quarter. She then finally put home a third-attempt shot just 5:26 later for the 3-0 lead and natural hat trick.
THE INSIDE STORY
• The Bullets had a 25-4 advantage in shots and 11-3 advantage in penalty corners. All four shots and two of the corners by the Presidents came in the fourth quarter.

Bella Bonazinga's hat trick was the first for a Gettysburg player since the 2016 season.
• It was the first time the Bullets did not play an overtime game this season as well as first shutout of the year.

Delaney Ellsworth (Cos Cob, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) made three saves in her first collegiate action in goal in the fourth quarter.
