Gettysburg won two of the three doubles matches before splitting singles to edge Lebanon Valley for a 4-3 victory.
THE LEADERS

Lindsay Paullin (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) sealed the victory with her second win of the day, capturing sixth singles, 6-1, 6-1.
FOR THE FOES
• Megan Martin and Katie Berra each won twice for the Flying Dutchmen. The duo combined for a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles. Martin then won third singles 6-3, 6-3 while Berra notched a 6-4, 6-1 victory at fifth singles.

Lindsay Paullin partnered with
Claire Carroccio (Newtown Square, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) won the deciding third doubles match to earn Gettysburg the first point with a 7-5 win.

Arina Zheliaskova (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation/Gymnasium 540) and
Gabby Mazzeo (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) teamed to win first doubles, 6-4.
• Mazzeo added a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.

Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) won in straight sets at fourth singles, 7-6, 6-4.
• Catherine Stone had the other victory for Lebanon Valley, winning second singles in three sets. She took the first set 6-2 before Zheliaskova evened the match with a 6-2 win but Stone rebounded for another 6-2 win and brought the match down the No. 6 singles match.
