• In doubles,
Gabby Mazzeo teamed with
Arina Zheliaskova (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation/Gymnasium 540) to win No. 1 by a 6-1 score. Elicia Aponte and Alaina Smith notched a 6-2 win at second doubles for Albright while Nadia Margaritov joined Daniela Diez for a 6-2 victory at No. 3 to earn the point.
• Mazzeo won first singles 6-3, 6-0 while Zheliaskova was a 6-4, 6-0 winner at second singles. Margaritov won 6-0, 6-3 at fourth singles while Allison Horick claimed a three-set win at third singles. After dropping the first set 7-5, she won 6-0 and 6-2 to make it a 3-2 match.

Lindsay Paullin (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) drew the match even with a 7-6 (1), 6-4 win at fifth singles.

Meaghan Dougherty (Heath, Texas/Rockwell-Heath) won the first set at sixth singles 6-3 before Saba Soroush pushed the match the limit with a 6-1 victory to force a deciding set. Dougherty then claimed the win and the match with a 6-3 win.
NEXT UP
Gettysburg will conclude its second match at Messiah on Thursday. The Bullets and Falcons were tied at 3-all with sixth singles to be finished when it was too dark to continue. The match will resume at 4 p.m.
