THE SKINNY STORY
After giving up an early lead, Gettysburg drew back level by halftime and then scored twice in the second half to defeat Franklin & Marshall, 3-1.
THE LEADERS

Dylan Capazario (Johannesburg, South Africa/McCallie School [Tenn.]) scored the final goal as insurance for the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Davis Rorick made three saves in goal for the Diplomats.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• On a ball into the box, a Gettysburg defender mishit the attempted clear and put it into his own net for the own goal and a 1-0 Franklin & Marshall just 4:29 into the game. In the 40th minute,
Sergio Neto (Brasilia, Brazil/Northwood School [N.Y.]) played a ball from the left wing up to the top of the box.
James Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) ran onto the ball and fired it into the back of the net to tie the game at 1-all.
• Just after the Bullets were denied on a breakaway,
Max Williams (Montclair, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) dribbled down the right side and centered the ball to a crashing
Finn Hoefer (New York City, N.Y./Grace Church School), who knocked it in for a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute.
Diallo Cowan (Stratford, Conn./Bunnell) took the ball to the baseline and sent it to the back post, where Capazario fired it home in the 72nd minute.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall finished with a 17-14 edge in shots but Gettysburg had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.

Sean Kennedy (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) made seven saves in goal.
