THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 17th in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III coaches' poll, finished second in a field of 18 teams at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic. The Bullets carded a 36-hole total of 583 on the weekend, posting a round of 290 on Saturday and 293 on Sunday at Waynesboro Country Club. The B-team placed third in the field with a score of 584, posting a 293 in the first round and 291 in the second round.
THE LEADERS
•
Nick Conti (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) won his first collegiate tournament with a five-under par 139 on the weekend. He fired a career-low round of 68 on Saturday before posting a one-under 71 on Sunday and had nine pars on the back nine to win on a match of cards.
•
Daniel Casanta (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) matched his teammate to lead the A-team. He carded a round of five-under par 67 to match his career low on Saturday before posting an even-par 72 on Sunday to finish with a 139.
FOR THE FOES
• McDaniel, which held a three-stroke lead on Gettysburg after the first round, held on to edge out both Bullet teams and claim its seventh title at the 14th annual event. The Green Terror posted a round of 287 on Saturday and 295 on Sunday to finish with a score of 582 at the course t hat will once again host the Centennial Conference championship.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Andrew Ekstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban) also registered a round of 67 on Saturday to join Casanta with the first-round lead. He followed that up with a round of 74 on Sunday to finish with a score of 141 at three-under par and place third.

Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) placed 29th in the field with a score of 150, following up a 77 on Saturday with a second-round score of 73.
• Freshmen
Wyatt Isgrig (Greenwood Village, Colo./Cherry Creek) was 47th in the field with a score of 155 (81-74) while
Reece Scott (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) round out the A-team in 48th with a score of 156 (79-77).

Will Chouinard (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) joined Conti on the B-team, finishing 15th with a score of 147. He also went under par on Sunday with a 71 a day after firing a 76.

Brooks Thompson (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) finished 24th in his first collegiate tournament with a score of 149, carding rounds of 74 and 75.

Liam Houlihan (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen) also played in his first collegiate tournament, placing 34th with a score of 151. He posted rounds of 75 and 76.

Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) rounded out the B-team competitors in 51st place. After an opening round of 83, he wrapped up the tournament with a score of 74.
• Playing as an individual,
Tim Hill (Weston, Mass./Dover Sherborn) placed fifth in the field with an even-par 144. After a one-over opening round, he fired a career-best one-under in the second round.
Redmond Podkowa (Marion, Mass./Bishop Stang) rounded out the Gettysburg competitors in 71st place with a score of 162 (81-81).
