Gettysburg won all three sets by two points to sweep Haverford, 3-0.
THE LEADERS

Alycen Radolovic (Willoughby, Ohio/Beaumont School) led the Bullets with 13 kills.

Nala Shearer (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) steadied the defense with a career-high 32 digs.
FOR THE FOES
• Elizabeth Cella led the Fords with 13 kills and hit .306 on the day. She rounded out a double-double with 11 digs.

• Gettysburg opened up an early 13-4 in the first set and maintained a lead at 19-8 before Haverford scored four of the next five points to start a rally and close to within 20-12. An
Ione Pedersen (Bigfork, Mont./Eagle Valley [Colo.]) kill pushed the lead to 22-13 before three errors and two Cameryn DeBlecourt aces helped trim the deficit to 22-20. An
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) pushed the opening set to 24-21 before the Fords pulled back to within one and a block from
Ava Grall (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra) and
Gianna Galli (Demarest, N.J./Northern Valley Demarest) capped the 25-23 win.

Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) ace gave the hosts an 11-7 lead in the second set before back-to-back
Alycen Radolovic kills extended the advantage to 14-9. A 7-2 Haverford counter tied the set at 16-all. After the teams went back and forth, Haverford reeled off four straight points to take a 22-19 lead. Gettysburg, however, scored five of the next six points to reach set point, 24-23. Cella drew things even before a pair of errors gave the Bullets a 2-0 lead, 26-24.
• Two Radolovic kills and around a pair of Gonzalez aces keyed a 6-0 run that opened up a 14-7 lead for Gettysburg. Trailing 21-17, the Fords tallied four straight to pull even. Radolovic knocked a kill for match point but back-to-back errors drew the set even once again.
Emma Bradshaw (East Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) added a kill and a bad set wrapped up the sweep, 26-24.
THE INSIDE STORY

Nala Shearer's 32 digs was the most by a Gettysburg player in a three-set match since Steph Vial had 36 on Nov. 10, 2005.
•
Erin Gonzalez added nine kills, 16 digs and two aces.
•
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) finished with three blocks to go over 400 for her career.
