Swarthmore, ranked 13th in the latest United Soccer Coaches' poll, scored three first-half goals en route to a 4-0 win over Gettysburg.

Anna Kavountzis (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown North) made two saves in the second half in goal.
FOR THE FOES
• Ava Grizzie opened the scoring for the Garnet with her conference-leading 11th goal of the season.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Ava Gizzie finished a ball over the top just 3:05 into the game before Macie Mangini doubled the lead 10 minutes later off a Haley Lewinski corner kick.
• Celia Kanellakos scored just 41 seconds before halftime before Jordan Vrees scored 30 seconds after halftime for a 4-0 lead.
THE INSIDE STORY
• With the win, Swarthmore assures itself a first-round bye in the Centennial Conference tournament and will host one of the two semifinals.
• The Garnet doubled up the Bullets in shots 22-11 and had the advantage in corner kicks, 5-1.
