Gettysburg placed its top four runners in the top 100 to finish 13th at the NCAA Div. III Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted at Big Spring High School. The Bullets recorded 382 at points among the 31 competing teams.
THE LEADERS

Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) led the Bullets with a 55th-place showing, breaking 27 minutes with a time of 26:59.3 on the 8,000-meter course.
FOR THE FOES
• Johns Hopkins won the regional title with 23 points, placing all seven of its runners in the top nine individually.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Asher Leuzzi (Weston, Conn./Weston) crossed the line 62nd with a time of 27:06.7.

Jack Rogers (Gaithersburg, Md./Good Counsel) was 82nd with a time of 27:47.1.

Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) finished 89th with a time of 27:54.3.

Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn./Wooster School) placed 104th with a time of 28:13.8.
