Gettysburg College's nationally-ranked intramural sports program took center stage in the opening month of the academic calendar with four teams rising atop the competition to claim coveted championships this fall.
More than 330 total participants competed across four leagues and 95 total games. Champions were crowned in 3-on-3 basketball, 4-on-4 beach volleyball, women's pickleball, and men's pickleball.
Bananas took home the 3-on-3 co-rec basketball crown, polishing off a perfect 5-0 campaign with a win over Underdog. The team's roster included Axel Barrentes, Tianyi Jia, Alberto Alvarez-Vega, Lucio Correa, Dejah Hill, and Matthew Maratea.

After finishing runner-up a year ago, ACE wrapped up the sand volleyball title with a 2-0 win over Sandstorm in the final match. Alexander Fallon, Jack Fahey, William Jaeger, Hannah Kernis, and Cooper Leeman posted an 8-1 record during the season.
In a battle of unbeatens, Pickle Me Silly featuring Isaac Shannon and Alexander Wilkie-Viscio defeated Chop House 2-1 in the best-of-three finale to claim the men's pickleball title. Perfection was on the line in the women's finale as well with Maya Pabis and Samantha Dauberman of Meow claiming the championship tees with a 2-1 win over the 230 Gang.
