The competition was exciting and fierce as students battled for intramural supremacy in volleyball, football, and billiards during the latter half of the fall semester at Gettysburg College.
Mi Bombo completed an undefeated season on the volleyball court with a 2-0 victory over Block Party in the championship match. The team of Abror Niyazmetov, Alberto Alvarez-Vega, Santiago Barrantes, Sabrina DeSorbo, Khangai Erdenebat, Azzurra Manca Bitti, and Moxe Meiri only dropped one set during the course of the season on the way to the crown.
On the gridiron, the men's lacrosse team went unbeaten over six flag football games, defeating Alpha Tau Omega in the championship finale at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. The squad claimed the coveted IM championship swag for the second consecutive year.
In billiards, champions were crowned in doubles and singles competition. Lewis Pummell and Habib Yusuf of Golazo beat Whisper of the Heart in the doubles championship, while Wyatt Coulson took home the individual title.
The recent championships concluded an exciting fall semester for Gettysburg's nationally-ranked intramural sports program. Earlier in the fall, intramural champions were crowned in 3-on-3 basketball, 4-on-4 beach volleyball, women's pickleball, and men's pickleball. Nearly 350 participants represented 74 teams across 134 games this fall.
