THE SKINNY STORY
Each team converted a penalty kick in the first half but it was a second-half goal by Johns Hopkins that lifted the No. 4 seed to a 2-1 win over No. 2 Gettysburg in the 2025 Centennial Conference men's soccer semifinals.
THE LEADERS

Sergio Neto (Brasilia, Brazil/Northwood School [N.Y.]) scored the lone goal for the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Brendan Listzwan had the game-winner for the Blue Jays, who advance to Sunday's championship game at top-seeded Dickinson.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Just over two minutes into the game, Johns Hopkins drew a foul in the right side of the box and Alex Gardner stepped up and converted the penalty kick for a 1-0 lead. In the 12th minute, a foul in the left side of the box gave Gettysburg a penalty kick.
Sergio Neto went opposite the keeper and tied the game at 1-all.
• Off a Connor Wilkes free kick in the 74th minute, Brendan Listzwan got a head to the ball and knocked it into the right side of the goal for a 2-1 lead and defense fended off a late charge by the Bullets.

Sean Kennedy (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) made four saves for Gettysburg.
• The Bullets had a 13-12 edge in shots but the Blue Jays had the advantage in corner kicks, 8-3.
