THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 51 points to place fifth at the 2025 Indoor Centennial Conference Championship hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
THE LEADERS
- Gabrielle Thiry (Lancaster, Pa., Lancaster Country Day School) finished with the gold in the 3,000 with a season-best time of 10:19.93 setting a new program record. She also ran in the 5,000 finishing fourth with a season-best time of 18:10.45 which ranks sixth in program history.
- Lillian Boudreau (Adams, Mass., Hoosac Valley) earned silver in the 400 with a season-best time of 59.44 seconds. She also finished 11th in the 200 with another season-best time of 26.98 seconds.
FOR THE FOES
- Johns Hopkins won the title with 299.5 points, Dickinson finished second with 104 points, while Swarthmore followed in third with 73 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Kailey Schissler (Pasadena, Md., Chesapeake) finished fifth in the high jump with a personal-best leap of 1.49 meters. She also competed in the 60 meter prelims with a season-best time of 8.35 seconds, which ranks fourth in program history, finishing 16th however, she did not start in the finals.
- Bethany Rolley (Huntingdon, Pa., Huntingdon Area) came in fifth in the pole vault with a personal-best vault of 3.17 meters which ranks second in program history.
- Elyse Tancini (Collegeville, Pa., Perkiomen Valley) placed sixth in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 18:29.34. She also finished the 3,000 in eighth with a season-best time of 10:39.02 which ranks ninth in program history.
- Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) placed ninth in the pentathlon with a personal-best 2,411 points which is tied for fifth in program history. She finished fourth in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 9.80 meters and placed ninth in the high jump setting her personal-best with a leap of 1.32 meters among her performances in the five-event multi. She also competed in the long jump finishing 27th with a jump of 4.17 meters.
- Carys Cook (Wimberley, Texas, Lauralton Hall) finished the 3,000 in 10th with a season-best time of 10:40.53.
- Lea Del Grippo (Cinnaminson, N.J., Cinnaminson) came in 10th in the pentathlon with a personal-best 2,331 points which rank seventh in program history. Among her performances in the event she finished fifth in the shot put with a toss of 9.54 meters and placed sixth in the high jump with a personal-best leap of 1.38 meters. She also competed in the shot put finishing 21st with a throw of 9.43 meters.
- Jenna Weylman (Walpole, Mass., Walpole) placed 11th in the 60 meter prelims with a season-best time of 8.27 seconds however, she did not start in the finals. She also placed 18th in the 200 with a season-best time of 27.60 seconds.
- Franny Proto (Old Tappan, N.J., Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan) came in 11th in the 3,000 with a season-best time of 10:42.95.
- Rowe Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa., Strath Haven) finished 12th in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:25.16 which ranks fifth in program history.
- Camryn Rogers (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) competed in the 400 finishing 13th with a season-best time of 1:04.29.
- Ava Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa., Strath Haven) placed 14th in the mile with a season-best time of 5:17.12.
- Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber) finished 15th in the 400 with a season-best time of 1:04.75. While Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent) right behind her in 16th with a season-best time of 1:05.01.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Weylman, Schissler, Rogers, and Boudreau finished fourth in the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:49.05. While Rogers, Julia Brock (Moorestown, N.J., Moorestown), Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels), and Boudreau finished fourth as well in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:14.42.
- Brock, Hoover, R. Crawford, and Cook placed fifth in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:52.53.
- R. Crawford, Brock, A. Crawford, and Hoover finished fifth in the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:53.59.
- Olivia Taylor (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., Hendrick Hudson) placed 11th in the pole vault with a vault of 2.87 meters.
- Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J., Allentown) came in 15th in the shot put with a 10.43 meter throw.
