THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg won two of three doubles at No. 1 and No. 3 however ultimately fell to No. 8 Swarthmore 6-1 after dropping all six singles matches.
THE LEADERS
Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md., Thomas S. Wootton) led the Bullets winning four in both sets at No. 1 singles against Michael Melnikov. He and
Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) doubled at first doubles winning 6-2 over Melnikov and Utham Koduri.
FOR THE FOES
Max Lindstrom led the day for Swarthmore winning 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. He and Winston Zhang doubled at second doubles earning the only doubles win of the day for the Garnet.
THE REST OF THE STORY
Matt Porreca (Blue Bell, Pa., La Salle College) and
Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md., Wheaton) combined at third doubles to add the second win for the Bullets beating Aadhi Raja and Rishi Verma 6-3. Porreca had one game in the first set at fourth singles however he ultimately fell to Zhang 6-1, 6-0.
Ben O'Connor-Skloot (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dobbs Ferry) had four games in his first set against Lindstrom however he went 6-0 in second set dropping the win.
Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J., West Morris Mendham) had a win in each set however Verma took third singles 6-1, 6-2.
