THE SKINNY STORY
Haverford took all doubles matches and all but one singles to defeat the Bullets. Gettysburg got the No. 1 singles win in a three-set tiebreaker.
THE LEADERS
- Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md., Thomas S. Wootton) led the Bullets winning at first singles in the tiebreaking third set 11-9 against Haverford's Marko Arboleda. Fellman took the 7-6 win set one while Arboleda had the 6-2 set two win.
FOR THE FOES
- Justin Minerva only dropped one game winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles to help lead the Fords. He and James McKenzie doubled to beat Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md., Thomas S. Wootton) and Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) 6-3 at first doubles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Malek Mustafa beat Chait Krishna in set one 6-4 before falling to Krishna with the same score, ultimately losing 10-5 in the tiebreaking third set at No. 6 singles.
- Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) put up a fight losing 6-3, 6-4 at second singles.
- Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J., West Morris Mendham) and JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) also had some wins on the day losing only 6-4 at third doubles. Kutlu played at third singles unfortunately dropping both sets 6-4, 6-1.
