THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked fourth in the latest IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored seven goals in the first quarter en route to a 13-6 win over Muhlenberg.

Sarah Scollin (Oreland, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) led a balanced attack for the Bullets with two goals and two ground balls.
FOR THE FOES
• Emma Youngling led the Mules with three goals.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) scored two goals in a four-minute stretch to stake Gettysburg to a 2-0 lead in the first 6:30 of the game.
Lauren O'Connell (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) made it a 3-0 game nearly two minutes later before
Emily Crane (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) finished a third unassisted tally with 4:05 on the clock for a 4-0 lead. Back-to-back
Sophie Smith (Great Falls, Va./Langley) goals – the first from
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) and the second on a free-position attempt – just 71 seconds apart made it 6-0 before
Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) capped the 7-0 first quarter with 1:25 showing.
• Alyssa Hartnett broke up the shutout with 12:35 to play in the second quarter before Emma Youngling made it a 7-2 game just over six minutes later.
Sarah Scollin made it 8-2 at the intermission, converting an advantage goal with 1:43 on the clock.
• Jillian Kubikowski and Youngling closed the margin to 8-4 in the first 7:38 of the third quarter before
Julie Breedveld (Wayne, Pa./Radnor) and O'Connell) pushed the lead back to six with goals 52 seconds apart.
• The Mules scored the first two of the fourth quarter as well on goals from Rylee Hulack and Youngling in the first 2:02 of the period. Crane then netted her second with 12:25 on the clock before
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) and Scollin each hit on free-position markers three minutes apart for the final margin with 6:09 to play.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 30-21 advantage in shots.

Emily Crane added five draw controls to her two goals.
