THE SKINNY STORY
Georgia Mercer represented the Bullets at the Susquehanna Multis competing in the Heptathlon.  

THE LEADERS

• Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md., Rising Sun) finished fifth overall with Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying score of 3316 points in the heptathlon which ranks third in program history and sets a new personal-best for Mercer. She also set personal-bests in all events with her finishes in the seven event multi. 

FOR THE FOES

• It was a non-scoring meet. 

THE REST OF THE STORY

• Mercer finished first in the shot put with a personal-best and CC-qualifying throw of 9.89 meters. She finished seventh in the long jump with personal-best and CC-qualifying leap of 4.66 meters.  

• Her high jump results were also another personal-best and CC-qualifying jump of 1.32 meters to finish ninth. 

THE INSIDE STORY

• Mercer also set personal-bests in the javelin, 800, and 200 finishing fifth in javelin with a 22.92 meter throw, sixth in the 800 with a time of 2:36.80, and ninth in the 200 with a time of 29.32 seconds.
