THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg took all three doubles matches and two of six singles giving some fight to Ursinus however, the Bears ultimately took the 4-3 win.
THE LEADERS
- Mikey Fellman (Rockville, Md., Thomas S. Wootton) led the Bullets winning at first singles dropping only one match to beat Ursinus' Teddy Snyder 6-1, 6-0. He and Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) combined to take first doubles 6-1.
FOR THE FOES
- Noah Dichter led the Bears with a tiebreaking 11-9 win the third set at third singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) beat Ursinus' Andrei Bogdan with the third set tiebreaking win of 13-11 after dropping the first set 6-3 he won the second with the same exact score to force the tie.
- Teo Burgess (Rockville, Md., Wheaton) and Matt Porreca (Blue Bell, Pa., La Salle College) doubled at second doubles winning 6-3 over Noah Dichter and Russell Nour.
- Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J., West Morris Mendham) and JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) took the third doubles win 7-5. Kutlu lost at fourth singles (7-5, 6-2) but not without a fight winning seven games between both sets.
- Ben O'Connor-Skloot (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dobbs Ferry)won his first set 6-4 before dropping the second 7-5 sending the bout into a third tiebreaking set however, O'Connor-Skloot lost the tie 11-9.
