THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked fifth in the latest IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored four of the game's final five goals to overcome an 11-9 deficit with 8:49 to play and defeat No. 22 Haverford, 13-12.
THE LEADERS

Emily Crane (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) scored the game-winning goal with 1:51 remaining to cap of her three-goal, one-assist day for the Bullets. She also had four draw controls.

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) contributed four goals.
FOR THE FOES
• Brooke Epstein led the Fords with three goals and two assists to go with three draw controls and a caused turnover.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Daniela Martini took advantage of an advantage situation to stake Haverford to a 1-0 lead just 2:39 into the game.
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) found
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) just over five minutes later to tie the game before
Julia Daly finished a solo run to put Gettysburg in front with 6:08 showing. Brooke Epstein retied the game with 2:15 to play before two
Emily Crane goals in the final 66 seconds of the quarter gave the Bullets a 4-2 lead.
• Epstein converted another advantage goal 29 seconds into the second quarter but Kelly found
Sarah Scollin (Oreland, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) and Daly just 46 seconds apart for a 6-3 advantage. Daly then finished from Crane for a 7-3 lead with 8:11 showing. Abby Bonner and two goals from Tiffany Mikulis closed the deficit to 7-6 with 2:01 remaining in the opening half before
Sophie Smith (Great Falls, Va./Langley) and Kylie McNamara) traded goals in the final 1:18 of the half to make it an 8-7 game.
• After neither team scored in the third quarter, Martini tied the game from Epstein just 1:21 into the final period.
Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) responded off Kelly's fifth and final assist of the day just 21 seconds after the Fords tied the game. McNamara capitalized on yet another player advantage situation to retie the game with 12:15 showing. Epstein then put Haverford in front just over two minutes later and Sophie Jaffe gave the hosts their first two-goal lead of the game with 8:49 on the clock. Taking a pass from
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood), Daly started the comeback trail with 7:02 to play before
Lauren O'Connell (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) tied the game at 11-all with 6:06 remaining. Scollin but the visitors in front a minute later before Evan Baumann found the back of the net in transition for the game-tying tally with 3:13 to play. With a player advantage, Crane took the ball at the top of the circle and drove to cage, finishing for the go-ahead tally and eventual game-winner with 1:51 to play. Haverford gained possession off the ensuing draw control but Battle forced a turnover in the midfield and Gettysburg held possession to run out the clock and escape with the victory.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 32-26 advantage in shots.

Grace Battle won nine draw controls as part of the Bullets' 18-9 advantage on the day.
