THE SKINNY STORY
The Bullets finished seventh with 54 points at the Messiah Invitational with Bethany Rolley setting a new pole vault record.
THE LEADERS
- Bethany Rolley (Huntingdon, Pa., Huntingdon Area) led the Bullets with a new program record in the pole vault with a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying vault of 3.26 meters. The new record also sets a new personal-best for Rolley.
- Gabrielle Thiry (Lancaster, Pa., Lancaster Country Day School) finished first in the 1500 with a personal-best and CC-qualifying time of 4:51.95.
- Olivia Taylor (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., Hendrick Hudson) placed 14th in the pole vault with a personal-best and CC-qualifying height of 2.96 meters which ranks fifth in program history.
FOR THE FOES
- Mount St. Mary's took the win with 148 points, Messiah came second with 116, Dickinson finished third earning 72 points only beating Lebanon Valley by two while Frostburg State came in fifth and Elizabethtown had sixth.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Franny Proto (Old Tappan, N.J., Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan) finished fifth in the 1500 with a personal-best and CC-qualifying time of 5:02.54.
- Rowe Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa., Strath Haven) placed second in the 1500 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 4:54.56.
- Carys Cook (Wimberley, Texas, Lauralton Hall) came in second in the steeplechase with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11:39.02.
- Julia Brock (Moorestown, N.J., Moorestown) competed in the 1500 finishing fourth with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 5:00.84.
- Elyse Tancini (Collegeville, Pa., Perkiomen Valley) finished sixth in the 1500 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 5:04.76.
- Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J., Academy of the Holy Angels) placed seventh in the 400 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 63.18 seconds.
- Lauren DiOttavio (West Chester, Pa., Downingtown West) came in ninth in the 100 meter prelims with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 13.25 seconds however, she did not start in the finals.
- Lea Del Grippo (Cinnaminson, N.J., Cinnaminson) competed in javelin finishing 19th with a season-best and CC-qualifying toss of 25.03 meters. She also finished 20th in discus with a CC-qualifying throw of 29.52 meters. Del Grippo came in 44th in the shot put with a throw of 7.96 meters.
- Camryn Rogers (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) finished eighth in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 63.49 seconds. She also set a new personal-best in the 200 with a time of 28.27 seconds finishing 15th.
- Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J., Allentown) placed 11th in discus with a CC-qualifying toss of 32.42 meters. She also finished 12th in the hammer with another CC-qualifying throw of 37.71 meters. Gensinger also competed in shot put finishing 19th with a third CC-qualifying toss of 9.93 meters.
- Bella Yardeni (Port Washington, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber) came in 15th in the 400 with a CC-qualifying time of 65.62 seconds. She also finished 20th in the 200 with a personal-best time of 28.67 seconds.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Theresa Ditri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa., William Tennent) finished eighth in the 800 with a personal-best time of 2:31.04. She also competed in the 200 finishing 27th with a personal-best time of 29.37 seconds.
- Hoover, Brock, Ava Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa., Strath Haven), R. Crawford combined to place first in the 4x800 relay with a season-best time of 10:01.18.
- Proto, Thiry, Jessica Bourne (Rye, N.Y., Rye), Cook also competed in the 4x800 relay finishing third with a season-best time of 10:10.64.
- Kailey Schissler (Pasadena, Md., Chesapeake) placed 19th in the 200 with a season-best time of 28.66 seconds.
- Ava Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa., Strath Haven) came in eighth in the 1500 with a time of 5:07.17.
- Ainsley Kilbreth (Nottingham, N.H., Coe-Brown Northwood Academy) competed in javelin finishing 33rd with a toss of 18.71 meters. She also finished 36th in discus with a 23.14 meter throw.
- Ashlyn Miller (Martinsburg, W.Va., Martinsburg) finished 39th in shot put with a throw of 7.96 meters.
