THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 14th in the latest NFCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to defeat Ursinus 7-4 and advance to Sunday's championship game of the 2025 Centennial Conference tournament.

Audrey Bergan led off the bottom of the first inning with a single up the middle before
Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg) beat out a bunt single to put runners at first and second. A wild pitch moved both runners up a base before an
Elliana Hopple (Coatesville, Pa./The Episcopal Academy) sacrifice fly and
Morgan DeFreitas (Collegeville, Pa./Downingtown West) double down the line staked Gettysburg to a 2-0 lead. An
Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) RBI single made it 3-0.
• Stephanie Mallen singled to lead off the top of the third before scoring on a two-out Reagan Robinson double off the fence in left field to make it 3-1. A Riley Coneeny infield single and throwing error made it a 3-2 game.
• Madyson Hickman doubled down the line to lead off the fourth before a one-out sacrifice and Mallen single down the line tied the game at 3-all. Singles from Anna Evanchik and Kayla Carr gave Ursinus a 4-3 lead.

Carlie Goldstein (Verona, N.J./Verona) led off the bottom of the inning with a single through the left side,
Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) beat out a bunt single and a throwing error put runners at the corners. After Brennan stole second, Bergan singled up the middle to score both runners and give Gettysburg a 5-4 lead. A bunt single and sacrifice scored Bergan for a 6-4 lead before a DeFreitas sacrifice fly plated Shaw for the 7-4 final.
