Gettysburg’s Badecki named Region III Coach of the Year

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2025 Golf Pride Grips Region Coach of the Years on Tuesday and Gettysburg's Jason Badecki earned the Division III Region III honor.

Badecki, alongside assistant coach Brian Bisacre, guided the Bullets to a Centennial Conference (CC) championship and 11th place finish at the NCAA championship.

The CC Coaching Staff of the Year, Badecki and Bisacre led Gettysburg to its first conference championship since 2019. The team posted a program-record stroke average of 293.7 over 28 rounds this season. The Orange and Blue won half of its 10 events during the regular season.

The Bullets made the 36-hole cut at the national championship for the first time in program history and the 11th-place showing was not only Gettysburg's best but the top finish for a CC team.

Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy), who was named CC Player of the Year, became the first player in program and conference history to garner first-team All-America honors after a program-record stroke average of 71.36 over his 28 rounds in 2024-25.

Myles Cunningham (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier), the CC Rookie of the Year, earned All-Freshman Team honors from the GCAA. He was the top-ranked freshman in Region III of Division III according to the Clippd rankings.
