After scoring five goals in the 2024 season finale – the most in six seasons – Gettysburg opened 2025 in the same fashion, defeating Widener 5-0 in the lidlifter for both squads.

Julius Rigo just over 14 minutes into the game to stake Gettysburg to an early 1-0 lead that held through the remainder of the first half.
