William Smith scored twice in the final 10 minutes of regulation to force overtime and then got the game-winner late in the second overtime to defeat Gettysburg, 5-4.

THE REST OF THE STORY

Sabrina Post opened the scoring, finishing a pass from
Jillian Somers nearly 10 minutes into the game for a 1-0 lead.
• Just over five minutes into the second quarter, Somers found
Margaret-Ann Graves (Charlottesville, Va./The Covenant School) to make it a 2-0 lead. Just 2:20 later, Abby Jones got William Smith on the board before Lily Gutch drew the hosts even just 1:39 before the halftime break.
• The Bullets needed just 64 seconds in the third quarter before Post found the backboard for her second goal of the day off a feed from
Colleen Ragan (Manasquan, N.J./St. Rose).
• Somers then netted her first tally of the season off a pass from
Cassie DeBlieck (Grafton, Mass./Grafton) in the 48th minute for a 4-2 advantage. Rebecca Mantione drew the Herons within one in the 52nd minute before getting her second to tie the game five minutes later.
• Mantione finished off her natural hat trick with the game-winner at the 77:05 mark.
