THE SKINNY STORY
Haverford had numerous quality opportunities early in the second half while Gettysburg had its share of chances late but neither team could capitalize, battling to a scoreless draw in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams.

THE LEADERS
Sergio Neto (Brasilia, Brazil/Northwood School [N.Y.]) had the best look for the Bullets late but he was stonewalled.
Sean Kennedy (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) made four saves in the shutout.

FOR THE FOES
• Grayson Benson made six stops for his own shutout for the Fords.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Despite an 8-4 advantage in shots in the first half, Haverford sailed the majority of those attempts over the crossbar or wide. However, the Fords' Thomas Vanni had three good looks at goal in the first 20 minutes of the second half but could not finish. Gettysburg finally flipped the field in the 15 minutes but the best look came in the final four minutes when Sergio Neto fired from the top of the box but right into a waiting Benson.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Haverford finished with a 16-8 advantage in shots and 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
