THE SKINNY STORY
The Franklin & Marshall defense forced three Gettysburg turnovers and limited the offense to 208 yards in a 29-0 win in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams.
THE LEADERS

Justin Bardo (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area) led the Bullets with 10 tackles and an interception.
FOR THE FOES
• Louis Paris led the Diplomats with 23 carries for 77 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Gabriel Diaz (Orlando, Fla./Winter Park) set the Gettysburg offense up at its own 41 with a 26-yard return on the kickoff return. The Bullets drove inside the F&M 30 before being stopped on downs. The Diplomats responded with a 13-play drive over 7 minutes, 40 seconds. Louis Paris capped the march with a one-yard dive on a direct snap before a missed PAT kept it 6-0 with 4:39 to play in the opening quarter.
• Franklin & Marshall went on another 11-play march in the second quarter. Another two-yard Paris rush capped the 52-yard, 6-minute, 36-second drive to make it 13-0 with 3:48 showing. The Diplomats added a 27-yard Michael Fleming field with five seconds left to extend the advantage to 16-0.
• A fumble gave the Diplomats the ball in plus-territory with 9:10 to play in the third quarter. The offense once again drove inside the 10 but the Gettysburg got a stop and forced another Fleming field goal from 24 yards.
• A 17-yard Jadon Prinzivalli-to-Michael Poruban touchdown and a 32-yard Fleming field goal set the final margin in the fourth quarter.
THE INSIDE STORY

Sean Clark (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) completed 16 of 32 passes for 158 yards.

Jayden Lee (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) caught four passes for 62 yards.
