With just 30 seconds left in the game, Gettysburg broke up a scoreless deadlock to defeat No. 10 Franklin & Marshall, 1-0.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• The first half featured very few offensive opportunities for either team with Franklin & Marshall having the only three shots. The offense picked up in the third quarter with each team generating three attempts. Gettysburg then carried the play in the fourth quarter and
Sydney Yaw broke through, knocking home a rebound off from
Cianna Miranda (San Jose, Calif./Willow Glen) shot and save to avoid overtime.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Both teams finished with seven shots but Gettysburg had the edge in the fourth quarter, 4-1. Franklin & Marshall finished with a 5-4 edge in penalty corners.
• The victory over the 10th-ranked Diplomats was the Bullets first win over a top-10 team in the NFHCA poll since a 4-1 victory over No. 8 Ursinus on Sept. 15, 2012.
