THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg outscored Haverford 43-25 in the second half to pull away and record an 89-59 victory.

THE LEADERS
Amanda Rapel (Stewartsville, N.J./Phillipsburg) led the Bullets with 17 points, shooting 7 of 10 from the floor and 3-for-6 from long range.
Kimberly Hopkins (Baldwin, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) added 11 points, two rebounds and a blocked shot on senior day.
Sarah Bertolette (Farmington, Conn./Farmington) hit all seven of her field-goal attempts for 14 points to go with five rebounds.

FOR THE FOES
• Audrey Jakway led the Fords with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Audrey Jakway opened the scoring before two Kimberly Hopkins free throws tied the game in the first minute. Tied at 4-all, a Sasha Brody (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal Academy) driving layup and two baskets from Sarah Bertolette stretched the lead to 10-4 with 4:34 showing. Haverford responded with eight of the next 10 points to tie the game at 12-all just 70 seconds later. Gettysburg pushed the lead back out to five but the Fords clawed back to take a two-point lead in the final 90 seconds of the period but Hopkins drove and scored for a 22-21 lead after one quarter.
• After a back-and-forth start to the second quarter, two Brody free throws with 7:11 to play broke a 25-all deadlock and sparked a 14-1 run that put the hosts in front 39-26 with 2:23 on the clock. Seven different Bullets each scored two points during the run. Gettysburg took a 46-34 lead to the locker room.
• Haverford got as close as 54-44 on a Jakway triple with 4:46 to play in the third quarter but Gettysburg outscored their visitors 18-7 over the rest of the period and led 72-51 heading to the final quarter.
• Behind two points from Adeline Standish (Avon, Conn./Avon) and four Reagan Chrencik (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) free throws, the lead swelled to 26 in the opening minute of the fourth period and Haverford got no closer than 22 the rest of the way. Leading 79-57, Caitlyn Nagle (Hightstown, N.J./Hightstown) bookended a Sireen Maharmeh (Jerusalem, Palestine, Israel/College des Freres) short jumper to push the lead to 30 for the first time with 3:04 to play.

THE INSIDE STORY
• With the victory, Gettysburg locks up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference tournament and will receive a first-round bye and host one of the two semifinals.
Sasha Brody round out four players in double figures for the Bullets with 10 points to go with five rebounds and three assists.
Briana Robles (Westchester, N.Y./Poly Prep) chipped in six points and five assists.
Skylar Reale (Warren, N.J./Morristown Beard) and Amelia Moore (Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's) contributed eight and six rebounds respectively as part of a 53-36 advantage on the glass.
