THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg closed the game on a 10-4 run to secure a 60-52 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS
Sasha Brody (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal) netted her first career 20-point game for the Bullets, leading the way with 25 points that included going 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. She also had six rebounds, two assists and three steals.

FOR THE FOES
• Elaina Beckett poured in 25 points of her own to lead the Green Terror. She also had four steals.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Seven points from Elaina Beckett in the first 2:25 of the game staked McDaniel to an early 7-2 lead. An Olivia Jones (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) three-point play cut the deficit to two but another Beckett deep ball stretched the lead to 10-5 with 3:56 to play in the opening quarter. The Green Terror extended the lead to nine before baskets from three different Bullets closed the margin to 14-11 at the end of the period.
• An Amanda Rapel (Stewartsville, N.J./Phillipsburg) 3-pointer tied the game a minute into the second quarter. A Lauren Cavoli triple and two Beckett free throws re-established a five-point lead for the visitors midway through the period. Briana Robles (Westchester, N.Y./Poly Prep) and Sasha Brody hit two free throws each around a Brody second-chance bucket for Gettysburg's first lead of the game with 3:35 showing. The teams traded baskets but five points from Brody in the final 1:54 gave the hosts a 27-26 edge at the break.
• The Bullets extended the run to 11 straight with a 6-0 first 2:28 of the third quarter to open up a 33-26 lead. Trailing 37-30, four points from Raegan Lenz helped tie the game at 37-all with 3:40 remaining. Tied at 39-all, Adeline Standish (Avon, Conn./Avon) hit a turnaround with 51 seconds showing for a two-point edge after three quarters.
• A Kimberly Hopkins (Baldwin, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) pull-up jumper on the opening possession of the fourth quarter pushed the lead to four. Both teams went cold before Lenz snapped a 3-minute, 15-second drought by both teams and then she added to free throws a minute later to tied the game at 43-all. Hopkins snapped a 5-minute, 6-second scoring drought before Cavoli responded at the other end to retie the game. Three free throws and an Ava O'Neil (Chevy Chase, Md./St. John's College) jumper gave the hosts a 50-45 cushion with 1:54 to play. Beckett, however, drained a wing triple with 1:37 to play. A Hopkins jumper, turnover on the other end and four free throws from Brody extended the advantage to 56-48 with 40.4 seconds on the clock. Beckett drained another trey to cut the deficit to five but Brody canned four more charity tosses to seal the victory.

THE INSIDE STORY
Kimberly Hopkins finished with eight points while Skylar Reale (Warren, N.J./Morristown Beard) chipped in four points but added seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.
