THE SKINNY STORY
Denison, ranked 10th in the preseason IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, scored the final four games of the game to knock off No. 4 Gettysburg, 11-10.
THE LEADERS
•
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) led the Bullets with one goal, one assist and three caused turnovers.

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) added three points on two goals and an assist.
FOR THE FOES
• Finlay Harmon led the Big Red with three goals, including the game-winner with 58.2 seconds remaining.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In a defensive first quarter, MK Barnhart finally broke a scoreless deadlock, finding the back of the net with 2:25 to play in the opening period.
• Finlay Harmon needed just 56 seconds of the second quarter, however, to score and double the lead.
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) scored on her first collegiate shot, finishing a feed from
Michaela Kelly with 13:26 on the clock.
Julia Daly wrapped around the cage and scored low to tie the game with 11:02 showing. Grayson O'Marra, however, scored twice to regain the two-goal lead for Denison. The first one came in a player advantage situation off a pass from Bridget Sheehy while the second came in transition after Mary Martinson picked off a clearing pass to make it 4-2 with 5:42 to play in the half. Unassisted tallies from
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) and Kelly 1:21 apart retied the game at 4-all with 2:58 before the break.

Charlotte Wilkinson (Wilmington, Del./The Tatnall School) tallied her first collegiate goal to give Gettysburg its first lead less than a minute into the second half. After Sheehy tied it with an advantage tally,
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) used the player advantage to her advantage when Daly hit her cutting down the alley for a 6-5 edge with 9:46 on the clock.
Sarah Scollin (Oreland, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) stretched the lead to two before Martinson scored 42 seconds later. Daly and Marra scored 20 seconds apart to open up a 9-6 advantage with 1:46 to play in the period. Harmon pulled the Big Red back within two in the waning seconds of the quarter.

Ally Kennedy (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) reestablished the three-goal lead with an advantage goal with 12:58 to play. However, Anie Savarese responded with an advantage goal of her own 2:15 later. Back-to-back solo runs where Emersen Thompson finished high just over a minute apart tied the game with 7:30 to play. Harmon then found the game-winner with 58 seconds to play and Denison corralled the final draw.

• Gettysburg finished with a 29-27 edge in shots and 13-10 edge in draw controls.
