THE LEADERS
Lexi Waring (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) led the Bullets, tossing a one-hit shutout in game one. She struck out five with now walks in the contest.
Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg) went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead the offense.

FOR THE FOES
• Payton Crawford led the Wildcats with a double in each game.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Scoreless in game one, Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) reached on an error to start the bottom of the third. A Jamie Shaw infield single put two runners on before Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) singled home Bergan for a 1-0 lead. A one-out walk to Morgan DeFreitas (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown West) loaded the bases before an Abby Todd (Roebling, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional) stretched the lead to 3-0. An RBI groundout from Abigail Gold (Apex, N.C./Apex) plated pinch-runner Siara Gonzalez (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) before Todd scored on a Lily Mader (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) single to right for a 5-0 lead.
• In the seventh, Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) singled on a hard liner to center before DeFreitas walked for the third time. A Todd walk loaded the bases before a third straight free pass to Gold on just four pitches forced in Pelekis. With one out, Lauren Bickler (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) singled to score pinch-runner Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) and Bergan ended it with a single to center, scoring pinch-runner Bella Rausch (Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly) for the 8-0 win.
• Bergan started game two with a single before stealing second. Shaw was hit by a pitch before both scored on a Laczkowski double to deep center. After a wild pitch, a DeFreitas sacrifice fly made it 3-0.
• Walks to Gold and Bickler around a Mader single loaded the bases in the home second. Bergan singled up the middle for a 4-0 lead. Shaw followed with an RBI knock of her own before taking second on a wild pitch. Laczkowski poked a single back up the middle that scored both runners and made it 7-0. A Sydney Goldstein (Villanova, Pa./Harriton) pinch-hit single extended the advantage to 8-0.
• Sofia Mileto singled up the middle to start the top of the third before Payton Crawford walked on four pitches. After a double play left it with a runner at second and two down, Astyn Calaman doubled home Crawford. Ryleigh Rinker poked a single into center and Harley Kunes had a hard-hit ball back to the circle to cut the deficit to 8-2.
• Gettysburg got both runs back in the bottom of the inning. With one out, Emily Bakker (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) walked before a fielder's choice. Shaw reached on an infield single and Bergan took the extra base on a throwing error to put runners at the corners. Laczkowski followed with a triple to right to make it 10-2.
