THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked seventh in the IWLCA Div. III coaches' poll, built a 14-5 lead after three quarter en route to a 14-10 win over No. 17 Scranton.
THE LEADERS

Nora Crowther (Randolph, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy) led the Bullets with career highs of four caused turnovers and five ground balls in addition to the defender's first collegiate point – a first-quarter assist.

Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) also had a career day with a career-best 12 draw controls to go with four goals and a ground ball.

• Jillian Lopez led the Royals with five goals, one assist, three draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) recorded a pair of assists in the game's first 3:09. The senior found
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) just 67 seconds into the game before hitting
Grace Battle just over two minutes later for a 2-0 lead. Jillian Lopez finished an Eileen Hewitt feed 65 seconds later to cut the deficit in half. Daly then hit the back of the net off a pass from
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) to stretch the lead to 3-1 before Alexandra Beck and Lylah Wilhelm cashed in less than a minute apart to tie the game with 6:21 on the clock.
Charlotte Wilkinson (Wilmington, Del./The Tatnall School), however, finished a solo run with 5:54 to start a 9-1 run. Daly tallied her second of the day off a
Nora Crowther assist that came after she forced a turnover in the midfield. A
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) free-position marker with 2:24 remaining made it 6-3 after one quarter.
• Battle and Kelly both recorded unassisted tallies in the opening four minutes of the second period to stretch the lead to 8-3. Lopez snapped a long scoring drought to make it 8-4 with 3:45 showing before Kelly weaved from the restraining line to goal and pushed the lead back to five 17 seconds later. Daly extended the lead to 10-4, wrapping up her hat trick with 2:42 on the clock.
• Daly made it 11-4 just 12 seconds into the third quarter off a Passarello feed before Battle a free-position shot to make it 12-4 with 12:34 showing. Hewitt made it 12-5 but Kenrick and Battle scored just shy of five minutes apart to make it 14-5 with 4:43 to play in the third.
• Three Lopez goals and an assist in the final quarter helped Scranton claw the final score back to a four-point margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• With her second goal of the day,
Julia Daly became just the fourth player in program history to reach 200 goals for her career. She finished the day with 202 goals and 287 points, vaulting into third place on that list.
• Gettysburg finished with a 37-21 advantage in shots and won 17 of 27 draw controls.
•
Camryn Epstein (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) added five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
