LANCASTER, Pa. – Four members of the Gettysburg men's indoor track and field team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team by virtue of their finishes at the championship on Feb. 28-Mar. 1.
Eli Steel (York, Pa./York Country Day School) earned first-team honors while
Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) and
Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa./Biglerville) claimed spots on the second team and
Mark Overlander (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) was tabbed honorable mention.
Steel claimed the gold medal in the long jump with a program-record jump of 6.88 meters. He was the Bullets' first champion in the event since 2016.
Regentin brought home the silver medal in the shot put with a throw of 15.07 meters.
O'Meara broke his own program record, clearing 4.60 meters in the pole vault to claim the silver medal.
Overlander made it a 2-3 finish in the pole vault, earning the bronze with a mark of 4.45 meters, which ranks third in program history.
